Newtown, Pennsylvania

Expanding the Lightpath fiber network in Pennsylvania, and listening to the community.

Lightpath has temporarily paused construction in Newtown due to concerns raised by community members. We're holding an information session to share the project plan, answer questions and hear directly from residents.

Information session: May 28, 2026 · 6:00 PM ET

A note from Lightpath

Why we're here.

On May 8, Newtown asked Lightpath to pause our fiber construction along E Washington Avenue while residents' concerns are heard.

This page is the central place to find documents about the project, the construction route, permits issued, and the people leading the work, and how to RSVP for the May 28 information session. We'll keep it up to date as new information becomes available.
